| conference | Madrid, 28 jul (EFE).- The Icelandic singer "Bjork" will launch his next disk, "Medulla", the next one 30 of August, a full album vocal of new experiments and influenced by his maternity and, recognizes that, for the first time, by the international political situation, of the one that "himself is not felt very proud as human being". Bjork, with a collected of asymmetric hair, dress blue color and silver bag, he did these reflections today in Madrid, where he remained some hours originating in Germany and where he chatted with a group of journalists on his new work, his musical career and his sensations.
This polifacĂ©tica artist, born in Reykjavik in 1965 and that he was rewarded by her interpretation in the movie "Dancing in the darkness" of Lars Von Trier, is the queen of the pop experimental and the capable, transcendental electronics of unfolding an alluvium of energy in direct under the fragile and serene appearance that showed today, seated before a coffee capuchino. "The third thing that perhaps have discovered is that for the first time I have been influenced by the political situation in the world, of the one that am not very proud as human being", explains Bjork, for whom what is important are not the politicians, but the routine life of the persons and their worries. "With this disk is the first time that react against this type of things", with songs in which speaks of pardon, of generosity and of the heart: "Plesure is all mine", "Show me forgiveness", "Triumph of to heart" or "Submarine", some of the 14 courts of "Medulla". The singer, that has passed several times by the island of the Gomera, lived in New York when the attacks were produced of September 11, 2001, and was shown surprised because a city that qualifies as "international" became the place more "patriotic on the land", that came compare with "the Germany Nazi". It recalls to open its door and to see the American flags, while "everyone said that the Arabs are terrible" and exclaiming "America, America. What is this?", the Icelandic artist is asked, he who was then when, for the first time, he was felt "more European than never". In spite of these reflections, insist that what interests is it to do more songs and that in the videos of this new album there will not be political content: "what is important is to create new things, to offer alternatives". It is considered fortunate, almost a "spoiled", because is very strange that someone can experience in the musical industry pop, something that believes that all the artists should do. The former component of the group Sugarcubes, that lives to horse between New York and Iceland, burst in 1993 in the international market selling two million and medium of copies of "Debut", its first disk as soloist after the dissolution of the group Sugarcubes.
